First Craft Fair Of 2013 Booked buuuut

We're not able to take jewellery! That being the mainstay of my stall i'm slightly panicked however the stall is cheap enough to do anyway. I share with my cousin who as well as jewellery sells handmag bags and cushions. I dabble in woodburning and can crochet soooo what else can i sell i wonder.

So far i'm thinking tea light holders, keyrings, brooches, fridge magnets.......

What sells crochetwise in June?????????

Am currently crocheting this granny rectangle despite not needing it or having any clue what to do with it......

Have also crocheted two cowls one for Tan Grey and one for the mother for her birthday tomorrow.

Woodburning wise i have been trying out pawprints which i will give to K9 Focus to sell to raise money.

I have an angel wing one to do as well but i need to get the mother to draw the actual wing :)

And campervans cos i love them :)

humbug

Have to say i'm still feeling a bit humbuggy about christmas. Would love to feel it but its just not happening this year for some reason. I have a 12-6pm shift tomorrow hopefully i will begin to feel festive once i get home.

Anyhoo i have finished crocheting this scarf today. Nice and easy to do and fairly quick. It started off as a scarf for my uncle but it was a case of right hook wrong wool so its ended up being nabbed by the mother.

Next i think maybe fingerless gloves to go with it, a crochet bowl....... If only i could wear hats without looking like day release doris. Anyhoo as i've been a very good girl i have it on good authority that santa is bringing me a crochet book and a crochet mag. Most of my wool is dk so hopefully i will be able to use it.

As of yesterday i've hit my first sale, online with a girt big mug of tea beside me always the best way. Have snagged a couple of birthday presents and another pair of jeans, very useful as i live in jeans.

Anyhoo hope you all have a Very Merry Christmas

Overslept :(

Have wasted most of the day and it seems the shed is not talking to me. This is largely due to the fact i overslept and i always feel like crap for the best part of the day when this happens.

A brief visit to the shed resulted in me wondering if i like the christmas cards i'm making and how the hell i'm ever going to get them finished!

I did briefly check on some resin projects and am chuffed with the purply skulls, i love these skulls and it baffles me as to why "they should be owls". I will be keeping a purple skull for myself and one is going to my friend Tan Grey for her fridge. I'm not sure if i will keep a fridge magnet or pendant. I wish the skulls were more popular cos i really love making them. However i have been attempting resin owls, the first would have worked brilliantly apart from me snapping the ear off!! The second attempt was messed up due to having to keep answering the door or phone! And now i'm out of resin.
Nevermind the trees worked well and are best as brooches or rings tried one as a pendant but not convinced.

Anyhoo heres to feeling more human and marmite on toast!!

Its all her fault

Her being Laney of http://laney-izzybeads.blogspot.co.uk she's mad as a bag of snakes but quite lovely with it and her dogs are fantastic!! Her blogs flippin good too. So she put this idea in my head, she does that a lot she does thank god she lives miles and miles and miles away, although it would be great to go on a dog walk with her. Anyhoo i've been out in the shed making resin snowflakes, trees and rings possibly an owl too, (Not convinced that will work but i was recently told my resin skulls 'should be owls') and i'm looking at the 'bead soup pot' thinking that should be emptied and offered as a prize on my blog and thinking about her blog etc.

So heres the blog and heres the soup.

This photo was taken on my bead mat with the pot it came out of and a pair of pliers to give you an idea of size. There is all kinds of beads in there i chuck the ends of packets, projects etc in the pot until its full. The bag is what my resin measuring cups come in so seemed a shame not to use it. You won't get the pot or the pliers or the bead mad but you will get the soup. Its not a great photo but it is great soup. So leave me a comment on this blog if you'd like a chance to win it and i will draw a name at the weekend.
